• Bigger in size than Micro Computers
• High processing speed
• Capable to support 4 -200 users
• Used in banks, universities

• They are very powerful
• Tackle huge amount of data
• More than 100 users can use a mainframe Computers simultaneously. They are used in networked environment.

Super Computer:

• Most powerful with a huge processing speed
• Used for weather forecasting, space research, satellite control, etc
